Who We Are
Since 1985 it has been MESI's mission to provide safe shelter to as many individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Manhattan as possible. In addition to emergency shelter, we also provide individualized case management, and access to resources.
What We Do
The Manhattan Emergency Shelter provides emergency shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Riley County and the surrounding area. Striving to maintain a safe and clean environment for the community's homeless population, MESI also advocates for affordable permanent housing for residents.
